How to find the rightsholder

Use the C-Tools browser bookmark for one-click access to the rightsholder of creative works on whatever web page you are at.
Or, enter in the textbox above the URL of the web page that contains the creative work whose owner you want to find, and click the action icon.
Note: The starting point to find a rightsholder is to be at a web page, any web page, that has the image or other content file in question. There is no method to randomly browse the database.
If the rightsholder or author has claimed that work in the C-Registry database, the following information may display:
- Contact information
- An ecommerce link for licensing
- A link to the copyright registration at the U.S. Copyright Office, if available
- An optional double-blind email process for communications
